Measurement Results Performed by the Internet Auditorium Measurement System TNS Metrix™

Riga, June 4, 2007 - The media, market and public opinion research agency TNS Latvia has developed the Internet resource, on which each Monday it will publish the number of website users performed by the independent and internationally recognized Internet auditorium measurement system TNS Metrix™. The data will be available for free to all the interested.

TNS Metrix™ is the independent third party measurement of the Internet auditorium offering the detailed counting and analysis of the Internet sites visitors. Websites, that have signed up for the TNS Metrix survey, can offer more thorough and comparable information concerning their user base to each advertiser (number of unique visitors, number of page views, number of sessions per day, week, month; length of page views, key words used to find a page, country of a page visitors, company which has viewed a page, language and others).

TNS Metrix™ measurements are based on the electronic counting of the Internet sites visitors – each measured page is be tagged with special code that ensures that every time page is opened a request is sent to TNS servers which register every opened page. TNS Metrix has been developed by TNS in cooperation with Japanese information technology company Bluemetrix.
