Lithuanian media advertising market grew 5,7% in 2001
21.02.2002.According to TNS Gallup Advertising Expenditure Survey (ADEX), International Advertising Assocation Lithuanian department, commercial TV channels, National television of Lithuania, media agencies, Radio and television commission of Lithuania data, the Lithianian advertising market of 2001 was 197,7 millions LTL (NET), that is 5,7% more than in 2000.

Biggest advertisers of 2001 were Colgate Palmolive, Procter&Gamble, Coca-cola, Kraft Foods, Bitė, Omnitel, Unilever, Tele 2 ir Švyturys. Budgets of those advertisers came to 40% of total market.

Advertising market grew: magazines 13,0%, TV 10,3%, newspapers 4,5% , radio 4,1%. Outdoor market decreased 23,1%.

Lithuania – 3,491 mio. residents CPC=16,3 EUR

While comparing data of three Baltic countries, in Lithuania is the least cost of one advertising unit per one resident (CPC), like on 2000. Otherwise the biggest number of population of Lithuania gives great opportunity for the increase of ad market.
